Summer 2020 Holiday Homework

Sadly, we’ve not been able to organise our usual transition activities for you to meet your new class teacher and spend some time in your new classroom.  As usual, we will obviously do our best to help everyone settle in when we return in September. It will help your new class teacher if you complete some of these activities and bring them to school in September.

These are just some ideas – you can choose which ones you would like to complete. We encourage you to be as creative as you would like. Don’t worry if you don’t have a printer at home; you can use the booklets as ideas and create your own using paper. Or you could put together one of the other ideas.

The important thing is to think about what you’d like your new teacher to know about you and find a way to share it.

These are also great mementos for you to keep, especially as some of the activities encourage you to reflect on how this school year has been different.

Take some time over the summer to do this and have fun. Remember, you can choose what you’d like to do and make it as creative as you’d like.  You can even ask your grown-ups to share your work-in-progress with us via Twitter - @IntakeSchool.

Please bring your holiday homework projects back to school on 2nd September.

If you've not seen the transition booklets, these can be found on the home page.

Try one of these. You can do as many as you like, and you can also adapt these ideas to suit you. We can't wait to see.

Download the relevant All About Me booklet for your child from the list below. If you don't have a printer, use these as an idea and create your own.
