In Y2, we use an online scheme called Purple Mash. Your child's 2Do’s will be set by your teacher each week and will be the same activities completed by the children in class. They will have to submit their work and their teacher will mark and give feedback on the activity. Your child should have their log-in at home, if not please contact school and we can send this via email.

Don't forget to take breaks throughout your day and complete your Daily Exercise (this could be outdoors or indoors with Joe Wicks or any other online dance/exercise videos).

PE with Jo Wicks- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rz0go1pTda8

Art and Design:

For our topic for this half term we are continuing with The Great Fire of London.

Watch the video below from the online museum and create a piece of artwork to show the great fire. Ideas might include: drawing / sketching the huge flames, creating a portrait of Samuel Pepys or creating your own junk modelling Tudor house. Please see the link below:

Please remember to have some fun and take breaks throughout the day – yours and your child's emotional well-being is just as important as their learning!

Be kind to yourself and your family!

You can share any work your child has completed on Twitter or via email!

We are here for you so please email your child's class teacher if you need anything. Please see the details below.

Love from,

Mr Troy & Miss Lawson

It’s important to stay active and happy during this time.

Can you go for a walk or play in the garden?

Have a look around what do you see?

What do the trees look like? What is weather like?

Can you see any plants?

Can you spot any mini-beasts?

What are they like?

It’s so important to make someone happy!!!

Can you help out a t home? It may help at home if you can:

Make your bed

Tidy your toys away

Set the table for dinner

Help to make the food, safely, with help from an adult

Put your clothes away

Do an activity quietly and on your own for up to half an hour

Stay Safe and be Happy! We miss you xx
