Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO's)
Road Safety
The JRSO scheme encourages children to take responsibility for their fellow pupils by addressing road safety issues on a regular basis throughout the school year. Their task is to organise and promote road safety initiatives, which include participating in assemblies, displaying information and organising whole school competitions. The JRSO's are supported in their work by the road safety staff from the Sheffield City Council.
