Intake Primary School
Launching at Intake on 18th May 2023, Sheffield-based charity Element Society has raised funding to teach cost-of-living kitchen skills and provide ingredients for meals.
Started during lockdown, the project was originally funded to give young people the kitchen skills to cook from scratch, supporting families with healthier food options. The project was so successful, the Element Society were able to further fund an extension of the project to help families with the current cost of living crisis.
Chef's Circle provides instructional videos and learning resources which enable families to cook on a budget. See below for the Chef's Circle recipe book and links to the instructional videos to encourage children of all ages to get involved.
